DealScan · diagnosis of your Last Mile · € 999

Know within two weeks where your deals stall

Ten of your own proposals, your sales process and a one-hour interview. You get a baseline, the conversion leaks that are already there today, and advice you can also carry out without us. Not a theoretical audit: we look at your own deals.

The Last Mile of Sales · More revenue from the deals you already have

The problem

Your proposals disappear into a black hole

You invest in marketing, your team works hard, and still most of your proposals go unanswered. That costs more than the missed order: you also miss the lesson.

  • You hear nothing back. No yes, no no. The deal evaporates in silence and you don't know where it got stuck.
  • You don't know why. Price, timing, or the story after all? Without a pattern in your proposals, it stays guesswork.
  • Every proposal takes hours. If you win one in four, three quarters of those hours are thrown away.
  • More leads won't solve it. You don't fix a leak by pumping harder.

§ 01 · Diagnose

The solution

A diagnosis of your Last Mile, not a sales pitch

Before you invest in anything, you want to know where you stand. We read ten of your proposals the way your client reads them, not the way you meant them, and put your sales process next to them. Together they show where the order slips away. Factually, with numbers.

Ten proposals work for large deals and simple ones alike. With larger deals we look for patterns in qualification, strategy, price and decision-making. With recurring proposals we also look closely at standardisation, structure, speed and follow-up.

€ 999 · one-off, excl. VAT · fully credited against a follow-up assignment

  • An extensive online intake of your proposal process (one hour)
  • Analysis of ten recent proposals, winners and losers
  • Review of process, presentation and proposition
  • Baseline: how many serious opportunities currently become an order
  • Patterns in deals won and lost
  • The biggest conversion leaks, each with an indication of what it costs you per year
  • Concrete priorities, including what you can pick up yourself
  • A numbered, bound copy by post before the review, plus a digital version
  • Review of the report and findings
  • Concrete advice on your next step, and the possible scope for The Project

The report names at least three places where you leave orders behind and ends with a plan of action, in order of priority. We discuss it together. After that you receive our proposal, so you can judge for yourself whether The Project is worth it, and either commission it or not.

The report is yours. If you carry it out yourself, that's fine: then you have your answer for € 999. If we continue together, the full fee is credited against the assignment.

From first contact to report

Five steps, two weeks

  • You book the intake or a call. Know enough already? Schedule the intake directly. Still in doubt? Book a call first; it costs you half an hour and nothing else.
  • A one-hour intake. Online, with the senior consultant who carries out your scan. With your permission we record the conversation, so every detail counts in the analysis.
  • You provide ten proposals. Recent winners and losers. The second part feels uncomfortable, and that is exactly where the pattern sits that you no longer see yourself.
  • Your report after two weeks. Complete and carefully produced (introduction, methodology, results and every bottleneck) as a numbered, bound copy by post.
  • We discuss it together. We go through the findings. Afterwards you receive the digital version and our proposal for The Project and The Partnership. The decision is yours.

What you have after two weeks

Three answers, in black and white

Not a loose presentation, but a complete, carefully produced report, numbered, bound and delivered by post: introduction, methodology, your results and every bottleneck, and finally the plan to tackle them, in order of priority.

§ 01

Your baseline

How many of your proposals currently lead to an order, what the average value is, and how much revenue is left on the table each year. That last figure is usually the one nobody has ever looked at. From here, every improvement is measurable.

§ 02

Your conversion opportunities

The specific places where the deal slips away: in your process, your presentation or your proposition. Ranked by what they yield, not by what is easiest.

§ 03

Your next step

At least three places where you leave orders behind, each with what it costs you per year for as long as it stays that way, and what can be done about it. That is where the calculation lies: not in what a solution costs, but in what standing still costs. What you can pick up yourself and where support pays for itself. Honestly, and without obligation.

Your documents

Confidential, and that is arranged

Your proposals are your commercial core. We ask for them, so you are entitled to know how we handle them.

  • Always under confidentiality. We sign an NDA before you share a single document.
  • Our own sovereign environment. Processing takes place in our own system in an EU data centre, not in an arbitrary cloud service.
  • Destroyed afterwards. After the DealScan we delete your documents, unless we start a follow-up engagement together.

The DealScan fits

If you recognise this

  • You sell B2B and work with proposals of real substance
  • You send enough of them to see a pattern, from a handful a month
  • You are an owner, director or sales manager and can make decisions
  • You are willing to share ten recent proposals, including the lost deals
  • You want to know where you stand before you invest in anything

The DealScan doesn't fit

If this is what you're after

  • More leads, SEO or advertising. That is your marketing agency's job, not ours
  • Sales without a proposal stage, such as a web shop with one-off orders
  • A second opinion on a single proposal that has to go out tomorrow. Is there a large deal or tender in play? Then we'd rather discuss that first
  • Confirmation that it's down to price. That rarely holds up with us

Who carries out your scan

A senior at the table, a method underneath

No account manager, no junior analyst. Intake, analysis and report are in the hands of a senior consultant: someone who has closed deals for years and is used to working at board level. That senior stays at the table from start to finish and is ultimately responsible for your report.

Underneath sits the same method every time, built on 35 years of deal experience. That way every scan uses the same yardstick, and later we can see what has changed for you.

In English or Dutch. Intake, report and review can be held in English, so international colleagues can take part from the start.

Frequently asked questions

Before you start

What exactly does the DealScan cost?

€ 999 excl. VAT, one-off. That is the whole price: intake, analysis of ten proposals, review of your sales process and the report. No hours or travel costs are added. You pay by invoice, with a payment term of fourteen days. And if you decide to continue with us afterwards, the full fee is credited against the assignment.

Am I committed to anything afterwards?

No. The report is yours and you can do whatever you like with it, including carrying it out yourself. We make a proposal for a next step because you may expect that, not because you have to accept it.

We don't send ten proposals a month. Can we still do it?

Yes, as long as you can gather ten recent proposals, over the past year if necessary. The mix matters more than the number: make sure to include the deals you lost. Have more? Feel free to provide up to twenty proposals; the analysis only gets sharper and the price stays the same.

Can the proposals be in English?

Yes. We analyse proposals in English and Dutch, and a mix of both is no problem.

How is the confidentiality of my proposals handled?

We sign a confidentiality agreement before you share a single document. Processing takes place in our own sovereign environment in an EU data centre. Afterwards we destroy the documents you provided, unless we start a follow-up engagement together. Of the report itself we keep one numbered archive copy, under the same confidentiality.

How long does it take?

Two weeks from the moment the intake has taken place and your ten proposals are in. You schedule the intake yourself; the sooner that is, the sooner you have your report.

Do you also do lead generation or marketing?

No. We work on the Last Mile of Sales: everything between the serious opportunity and the signature. Your marketing agency takes care of the leads; we make sure more of those opportunities end up as orders.

There is a large deal or tender in play right now. Do I have to do a DealScan first?

No. A two-week measurement is not the logical first step then. For a deal or tender with a hard deadline, we run an accelerated diagnosis on that deal itself, and then see whether the underlying problem is worth a Project. Discuss the deal directly.

What happens after the scan?

We discuss the report together and go through the bottlenecks. Afterwards you receive our proposal for what comes next: first The Project (three months, the foundation in order), then The Partnership (at least nine more months of improvement). The decision is yours, and working with the report yourself is also an option; we only determine the exact investment after the scan. This is what the journey looks like.

One decision

Measuring is cheaper than continuing to guess

For € 999 you know within two weeks where your proposals leave orders behind. If we continue together, The Project builds the foundation in three months and The Partnership turns it into a habit, and your DealScan fee is credited in full.
